Monte Verde' in colourway Serpentine Green. Monte Verde translated means 'green mountain' and inspiration for this print comes from the Monte Verde Cloud Forest in Costa Rica. A cloud forest occurs within tropical mountainous environments where there is consistent cloud cover and nearly 100% humidity throughout the year. This wet environment allowed for eco systems within eco systems. I was totally fascinated by how each tree trunk was completely inhabited by hundreds of smaller specimens of and that’s was the starting point for the design. Hand Painted in Gauche on Watercolour paper. Serpentine Green is a stunning palette of earthy mineral greens on an off white background. Serpentine is coined from the gemstone Serpentine which is said to aid personal transformations and transitions.
 
One roll is 10 metres long and is 70cm wide (7m squared of coverage)
